Well- feeling a tad bit discouraged.  Throat thing is not bouncing back quickly.  

Plan to get to Forward Operating Base Solerno thwarted.



And, worst of all, a cable was cut in the middle of the Mediterranean.  We will 

have zero phone access for the next week, and my only email availability is 

bonnie.koppell@us.army.mil.  I'm sending these updates to my daughter Sarah who 

will forward them to you.



Wish I could be a bit more positive.



We did get to the gym last night, picked up laundry today, Getting ready to set 

up for tonight's service.



SFC Cohen reviewed my blog- he thinks that I did not adequately convey the 

shlepping of bags and the standing in line.  So, in case I didn't make it clear- 

we shlepped many, many bags many, many times, and we stood in many, many lines 

as well.  In fact, we still get to stand in lines..
